Bar is definitely top quality, I donated it to a local boys club which I work at, that was started around 1976, unfortunately a lot of the bars are have been worn down over the years. The kids now have a bar with some knurling for better grip. Will be looking forward to buying a few more.
Fantastic bar. Wouldn't expect anything less given this is my 3rd Texas bar. 250 years of freedom wrapped up into a great bar.
Awesome collars, easy to close, grip like a vice, and the magnets add a level on convenience you didn’t know you needed.
Barbell is AWESOME! Cerakote is such a great look. The purple is very similar to rogue bar. Knurling is probably twice as aggressive as rogue CrossFit bar. Not a problem for me, but worth noting. Shipping to a while. Just over a month to receive the barbell. Would buy again. Customer shoe is great when you reach out for status update. Would recommend more clarity through the shipping/handling process so I didn’t have to ask for updates.
Knurling on the bar is nice and I like the 2" diameter of the shaft. The sleeves have poor tolerances, with play in them. They also spin worse than a cheap bar. While they charge a premium for shipping, the bar came with no protection other than a rigid tube. There was a small chip in the Cerakote, but I'm not worried about that because the bar is intended to be used... However, my biggest concern was the the metal shavings still left in the sleeves. Fortunately, I was able to clean most of that out because I could imagine that it wouldn't be fun to get in your eyes...

Just received my Blue fat axle bar. It’s is all the hype I expected. It’s well made and awesome feel to it. Looking forward to using the fat bar into my daily workouts. Well worth the cost and shipping to Hawaii.

Just received both a squat bar and a bench bar and we could not be happier. Both bars are well made with great knurling and finish. Very well balanced. Well worth the money spent.

I ordered the texas pro 29mm with bare steel shaft and the chrome sleeves. The shaft has the most aggressive grip I have ever felt on a bar. Like seriously, I don't think I will be losing any lifts due to grip.
I was using a chrome cheapo olympic bar for a couple of years and have had to develop more grip strength because I used to not even be able to hold it at 315 lbs. The knurling was smooth and the bar would just roll out of my hands. Fast forward and I was deadlifting 440 with that old bar but barely hanging on.
I just did 460 easy with this baby. It's almost too grippy but that is okay. On bench it feels solid, it is going to take some getting used to because it won't roll at all in the hand unless you make it so position is crucial. On squat it somehow doesn't even feel like there is anything on my back. I don't know how else to explain it.
I should have bought this years ago. It arrived in 2 days from across the country. The machining is flawless. I could not be happier with the bar.
I only use Texas Power Bars in my gym. The quality is unmatched. As a Strongman athlete, it’s not easy to find equipment made with precision and care so when the axle bar was released, I was excited. I unboxed it yesterday and used it immediately. I’m usually not a cerakote fan, but the red is fantastic.
It was tough to get out of the box. I thank y'all for protecting it so well. And I got it out and behold Excalibur. This thing is no joke.
It’s so nice to have a youth bar for beginners and smaller bodies that actually has the center knurling! It is perfect for youth lifters or for drills/instructing. It’s made well and looks cool too. They fit safely in any of our racks. We love this bar at eclipse powerlifting.
Bar is amazing came in flawless, but only get it if you don't need a barbell asap because my only dissapointment was shipping time. Before making my purchase I read their shipping times and it said ship within 1 to 3 days, but it took over two weeks to ship. I bought everything for my homegym on the same day and everything else came within a few days or by the end of the week, even from overseas lol, but waiting on this was a pain.
It's an amazing bar, I wouldn't even count it as being blemished it's still a very good looking bar as is!
